My Linux How To Do's

Hi Friends, Today I finally I installed my Ubuntu 17.10. this is the latest version available of Ubuntu. without any time waste, let's get started on my first post about Linux hot to do's. First things to do after fresh installation of Ubuntu Linux. 1) Check for Linux updates and upgrade this is the first and most important step after installation of Ubuntu. we must check if there are any updates available. to do so here are the steps: open a terminal by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+T combination. issue the command sudo apt update &&  sudo apt upgrade it will ask for Root password then enter the root password. 2) check for software updates Click on Show application and in search bar type software updates then chose software updated option, which will update software. 3) Install GNOME Tweak Tool it is an easy to use tool to make settings of desktops. open terminal window (Ctrl+Alt+T) and issue the command sudo apt install gnome-tweak-tool 4) ...
